Srs. Dorothy Ferreira and Juliet Pullokaran completed 25 years of perpetual religious profession in the congregation of Poor Sisters of Our Lady. The Silver Jubilee celebration was held at Holy Family Convent Chapel, Andheri on 19th March 2016 with solemn thanksgiving Mass offered by Rev. Fr. George Rosario S.J. It was a great day to recall God’s love and mercy that they have received all these 25 years Of life as a religious sister. Thereafter we had a small gathering for cutting of the cake and to felicitate the jubilarians on this great day and all of us joined in the fellowship meal.

Religious life is a call to follow Christ more closely in His poverty, in His obedience, in His giving of self. It is a call to holiness, but a holiness that shines through the woundedness and the fragility of our humanity, so that it is clear to everyone, with no shadow of a doubt, that Jesus is the source of all our good, the source of all our joy, the source of all our effectiveness. Thus we, too, shout out with you, our jubilarians: “How immeasurably rich He is in grace!”
