The Sisters of the Mallapur Community are deeply committed to serving the parish through a variety of pastoral and sacristy duties. Their work includes conducting catechism classes both in the school and the church, preparing students for the sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation, and visiting parishioners, particularly the sick, to offer support and care. Additionally, they visit the homes of students in various villages to strengthen their bond with the community.
In the field of education, Divine Child English Medium School, Mallapur, caters to students from Nursery to 8th standard. Along with academic instruction, we place great emphasis on imparting moral values, striving to shape students into individuals of strong character who are grounded in faith and compassion.
The Poor Sisters Of Our Lady prays for the members of the congregation, lay associates, collaborators and all people of the world. In addition to community prayer, we have a separate prayer time set aside daily, for intentions.
We invite you to send your prayer requests to us for : serious illness, operation/surgery, family, employment, examinations, repose of the soul of a loved one, private personal intention.
