Community: 3 Sisters. The primary thrust here is social work. The Sisters help in the pastoral work
covering youth animation; the parish choir; Executive Committee; Biblical Cell; Coordinating Committee
for Vulnerable Children (CCVC), Coordinating Committee for Child Labour (CCLC), Forum Against Child Sexual Abuse (FACSA). This Convent also houses the junior section of Divya Prabha, a venture
for street girls, who have been rescued and rehabilitated by the Sisters. As part of their ministry,
the Sisters are required to collaborate with the Justice Peace Commission, Collector of Thane, Police
Force, Women & Child Welfare, ChildLine, Juvenile Welfare Board, etc. which has afforded them a wider scope of interaction on the civic, social and welfare fronts.
The Poor Sisters Of Our Lady prays for the members of the congregation, lay associates, collaborators and all people of the world. In addition to community prayer, we have a separate prayer time set aside daily, for intentions.
