PSOL, Colva, Goa – (Estd – 2010)

The three Sisters in the Community cater to 18 girls whose parents are migrants from Jharkhand, Nepal and Karnataka. Due to their work they are not able to give education to their children. The Sisters send
them to Infant Jesus School and take care of their every need. Extra classes, Values for life, life skills etc. are taught to them in order to be good citizens. Dance, singing, craft, drawing and some extra English classes are taken. Health and hygiene, personal care, basics are taught to them.

Church activities like distributing Holy Communion, visiting the sick and aged people, Sunday School activities as well as being members of the Legion, are the works carried out. One Sister is employed by the school in the nursery section and has good experience with little children. We have good relationship and support from our Priests and parishioners.
