Shanti Sadan is a home for the aged situated in Mangalore, Kirem. Here, the sisters are involved in caring for the sick and elderly. It's a new home for the Aged for our congregation. At present, we have 2 inmates in our home. Three inmates have stayed for a short period of time and gone their respective homes.
We are also involved in pastoral ministry by helping in the church, distributing the holy communion, visiting the sick, and attending ward meetings.
We also started PSOL companions, and 12 members of our parish have joined us. We have had meetings and recollection together.
The Poor Sisters Of Our Lady prays for the members of the congregation, lay associates, collaborators and all people of the world. In addition to community prayer, we have a separate prayer time set aside daily, for intentions.
