Community of 18 Sisters. Since this is the Mother House, we also have a floating population of visiting Sisters from the various houses, Juniors, Sisters who are undergoing training/attending college. From this community, Sisters are in the administration in various schools namely; Our Lady of Salvation, Dadar; Holy Name High School, Colaba; St. Anne’s Girls High School, Dabul, and St. Xavier's School, Dhobi Talao.
Sisters also take care of the Sacristies at Cathedral House and Archbishop’s House, supervision of the priest's pantry and kitchen. One of our Sisters helps with front office at Archbishop’s House. Sisters also make their presence felt in Pastoral Activities in two parishes such as: Parish Council, Catechism classes where they prepare children for the Sacrament of the First Holy Communicants and Confirmation; Bible sharing for the home bound, weekly Legion of Mary meetings, leading prayer services; Holy Hours, Rosaries; being part of lectors group, Sunday choir. etc.
The Poor Sisters Of Our Lady prays for the members of the congregation, lay associates, collaborators and all people of the world. In addition to community prayer, we have a separate prayer time set aside daily, for intentions.
